Offering four separate homes, fully furnished with everything you need to relax and play, Bear Pen Gap Resort will not disappoint, and because all the properties offer something special, there shouldn’t be any squabbles over who gets which cabin! Choose Big Bear Lodge with its 4 bedrooms, private pool, and year-round hot tub and share the space with 14 of your beloved friends or family members. The views are amazing, and multiple decks and seating areas will give everyone the perfect spot to enjoy them all. Offering a wrap-around porch that is screened in, game room with foosball table and arcade game, and a primary suite with its own fireplace, private deck, and serene vibe, this comfortable and luxurious home will make you feel right at home.
Home number two, Momma Bear Cabin, is a smaller space, offering 2 bedrooms and room for 6 guests, plus your favorite fur baby. Also featuring a private hot tub, in-room Jacuzzis in both rooms, if you can tear yourself away from the views of Mount Le Conte, we will be extremely surprised! The third home in the resort, Bare Bear Cabin, promises romance, charm, and a heart-shaped jacuzzi you will want to spend as much time in as possible. All the homes offer their own outdoor hot tubs, and Bare Bear Cabin’s sits on a private deck overlooking the woods, offering more views of which you will never tire, and room for three guests and fur baby! (Pet fees are additional from the rental costs)
The final property is a sweet little cabin known as Baby Bear—no surprise there! And although it is the smallest of the four, a studio cabin, it roars mightily in amenities. A hot tub on the deck, a Jacuzzi in the room, and pet friendly as well, this hideaway sleeps two, and the views are, as you might expect, spectacular!

Obviously, everyone will want to spend summer days hanging out poolside in the big cabin, but the hot tubs that are open to the stars on every deck will be great for private moments when you are just ready for a little alone time! Bear Pen Gap does offer Wi-Fi, but due to its secluded location in the mountains, it can be intermittent, but that just means you will be “forced” to enjoy more family time! Playing video games, watching movies in the theater room, or gathering into teams for board game night will ensure that no one will ever hear the dreaded phrase “I’m bored!”
